Video examples
This tutorial has 2 different voiceovers, however uses no background music. In terms of sound design, the video is very well made. After the intro, the narrators name each camera angle whilst giving visual examples, then explaining them in further detail and why they're used, the tutorial is very comprehensive. After displaying the techniques, it provides a section of rules to follow. One way in which the tutorial could have been improved is through reducing the length. For example, the introduction lasts for nearly a minute.
This tutorial doesn't have a long introduction, it jumps straight into explaining how scenes are constructed and the importance of camera angles. It explains each camera angle for 2 minutes in detail, the way to use it, the way the audience views it and the message it conveys. There is both a voiceover and background music, with the audio being overall well balanced. The video could improve by cleaning up dead space, as the narrator is very slow and there are long pauses.
This video has no introduction aside from letting the audience know what camera it was shot on, and gets straight into camera angles. It's short, and to the point. The tutorial doesn't use a voiceover, only background music.
